




Autism is
The artwork is a collaboration, created by many persons. Acrylic on canvas with puzzle pieces, 16x20”. Puzzle pieces have positive qualities of persons with Autism. Here they are highlighting the acronym Always Unique, Totally Interesting, Sometimes Mysterious.
The artwork was presented as a gift to Pennsylvania House of Representatives Dennis O’Brien, Speaker of the House, April 2007 in the Rotunda at the State Capitol building. He has been a major champion for Autism rights. Pictured left to right, Bob Wright, founder of Autism Speaks, Robin Schwoyer, director HeARTs for Autism and mom to Kevin, Kevin Schwoyer, Trina Losinno, associate director of SPIN, Inc and Rep. Dennis O’Brien.
