Spectrum Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Robin V Schwoyer
We welcome trainees for our unique training program using Yoga and SMARTKIDS® techniques to holistically assist children with Autism Spectrum conditions, ADD/ADHD, SPD and other social/communication processing conditions. The class will volunteer with HeARTs for Autism and have a special Spectrum Family Yoga class as part of their training, so they can have hands on, relevant learning experiences.

Winter Blessings! Come enjoy our free family program! Support time for parents in the library with Mary Law, MA, who will do a wonderful Meditation and Creative Art exercise with the caregivers! NEW – Yoga & Art with Alison Belli Levine our wonderful new facilitator! Along with Robin, Svetlana and the volunteers for our Spectrum kids and sibs in the Craft room. We will have special guests this time as volunteers – the Spectrum Kids Yoga trainees! Please register at Robin@HeartsforAutism.org with the family name, names and ages of kids, and any special considerations for your child (diet, seizure, verbal level, sensory issues, etc.). Space is limited to 12 families, so please pre-register. New awareness products available for donation to the program. Come join the fun and support!

Valentine’s HeARTs Family Fun Nite – 7:00–9:00pm

Enjoy a fun nite out with your family and the HeARTs family! Valentine’s Day is a great time to uplift Love and Acceptance, and share how together we are the HeART of the Autism community, supporting each other and our children through the Arts, Education and Advocacy. Celebrate with your SweetHeARTs as we have fun activities, crafts, food and an Art exhibit, showcasing the artistic talents of our HeARTISTs and members of the SPIN Adult Day program. Email Robin@HeartsforAutism.org to register your family. If you can bring a dessert or snack, please let us know. We are looking for Sponsors – let your biz friends know they can help provide a fun time for ASD families by making a donation!

7th Annual Family and Friend HeARTs PAINTATHON! 10:00am–12:00pm
It’s that time of year again! When we gather together and GET CREATIVE! Join us for this free family fun event – using canvas, art paper, wood, etc. and art supplies and special embellishments, we paint and create wonderful pieces of art expressing the things we love about life and each other. You can take your art home to proudly display, and/or you can donate pieces to us, and we will use them in Education and Advocacy displays throughout the region and nationally. We celebrate with a pizza party at the end. If you are on a special diet, please bring your lunch. If you can bring snacks or dessert, please let us know what you can share with us! Please register at Robin@HeartsforAutism.org with the family name, names and ages of kids, and any special considerations for your child (diet, seizure, verbal level, sensory issues, etc.) Space limited to 20 families, so please pre-register.

Hosted by La Salle University and Greentree School. Dr. Peter Gerhardt will be key note speaker.
